Finalmente è nato il videoclip di Forbidden Flowers (tratto da ‘L’Insolita Compilation’) partorito da VisiVe - centro di produzione  di immagini  fiorentino. Il video è l'amalgama alchemica dell'estro artistico del regista Fabio Bianchini, dell'occhio attento del direttore della fotografia Roberto Galassini, dell'interpretazione conturbante di Scintilla e dell'impatto scenico di Paolo F.

L’Insolita Compilation è un progetto che nasce da un'idea di Gianni Maroccolo (in seguito ad una discussione sul suo forum). Il concept che sta alla base dell’insolito progetto è la scansione di una giornata con suoni elettronici dal carattere eclettico e multiforme. La volontà è quella di decontestualizzare la stantìa e fredda elettronica in forme più umane, morbide e sinuose. La compilation prevede la partecipazione di Gianni Maroccolo, IG, Paolo Favati, Blume, Cpt.Nice, A.M.Boys, Pt-r.  A chiudere il disco una cover del Maestro Morricone rivisitata a più mani in chiave elettronica dall’ “Insolita Band”.

Pulse racchiude le esperienze e le influenze musicali di Marco Galardi nel corso dei suoi 15 anni di attività come batterista (collaborazioni con Jezz Zero Group, Govinda, Indo European Music Ensemble, Arup Kanti Dhas, Bruno Briscik, Carlo Gatteschi…). Pulse è un concept album che amalgama il funk all’elettronica, il trip-hop al jazz, il downbeat all’etnica con un comun denominatore ritmico: la batteria.

I Blume sono un piccolo ensemble indie-pop. Dopo aver contribuito con 2 brani all’ “Insolita compilation”, sono pronti per il gran debutto. Le sonorità sono contrassegnate da una forte componente elettronica, miscelata ad atmosfere sognanti e sospese, in un andirivieni di oscillanze emotive.

Miss Isa, aka the Spark, playing with unusual roles, lies down on the genial lightings by Mr. Bianchini, lets herself being moulded with caution, to emerge later on in an omniscient dress into the post-production work, as an eye ‘other’ and the material background for the quivering handiwork images designed by Mr. Bianchini.

The project is born from an idea of Gianni Maroccolo (CCCP, CSI, PGR…), following a debate on his online forum.
The concept is the scanning of a daily routine by ecleptic electronic sounds. Our will is to humanize in a warmer shape the cold and impersonal electro music. The compilation involves: Gianni Maroccolo and his new band (IG, with Ivana Gatti); Paolo Favati’s remix of “Ongii” by CSI and Forbidden Flowers, a prewiev of his upcoming solo album; Blume, a sophisticated indietronic pop band; Cpt.Nice, sort of 21thCentury Devo; A.M. Boys, an electro-post-kraut duo with German influences; Pt-r, sound researcher devoted to field recording; an electronic cover of a Morricone’s legendary theme.

Pulse is an electro/acoustic project that was born by the idea of the drummer Marco Galardi. Marco involved the musicians who has played with him in his 15 years career. ( collaboration with Jazz Zero Grup, Govinda, Indo European Music Ensamble, Arup Kanti Dhas, Bruno Briscik, Carlo Gatteschi…). Pulse is a mix of electrofunk and trip-hop, downbeat and ethnic music with a spicy jazzy mood. Constant use of drum as a nevralgic centre of composition ( throught contamination and sonic decostructions) make Pulse a rare rythmic crossover. The concept is a parallel of sounds, visions and cinematic influences: from Miles Davis to Kubrick throught Billy Cobham, Massive Attack and David Lynch.

Blume is a small indiepop orchestra. Blume is a female. The band comes from a very industrialized area of Italy, where movements are mechanicals and unpersonal. Songs living between post-pop and glitch, noise and indietronica, with a pleasant approach. The electronic sounds is a playground where sweet melodies and complex rymtical joints can freely float above. Blume is a pop-lab. It's a work in progress, where musicians are involved to create an unique sonic paste. A perfect mix between melancholy and soft irony.
